Film and Media

Helicopters are the ultimate airborne camera platform and Sydney Helicopters draws on more than 25 years of aerial photography experience. Whether you require the door off, harness or other special needs, we have a helicopter to suit you. Examples of TV shows we have worked on include: Masterchef, Bondi Rescue, Biggest Loser, My Kitchen Rules, Sydney to Hobart, City to Surf, Bathurst 12 hour. Our experience in Aerial photography includes:

Aerial Survey

In 2008 year Sydney Helicopters was awarded the contract for the aerial inspection of Transgrid's central and southern regions totaling some 8000kms of powerlines.  In 2009 we have already been awarded the sought after contract for the aerial inspection of the gas pipeline network stretching from the Hunter Valley to Sale in Victoria.

Our Piolots

Sydney Helicopters employs pilots with a broad experience base.They are highly skilled in a range of demanding operations including tactical fire-fighting, photography, film and media, aerial crane and powerline inspection and patrol. They are knowledgeable on all aspects of Sydney and surrounds, and provide commentary during all tours.

Helicopter Facilities

With a first class commercial Heliport lounge and a fleet of aircraft to choose from, we have always managed to accommodate the most discerning of VIP passengers.

We operate a range of 3, 4, 5 and 6-passenger helicopters including AS350 Squirrel, EC120 Colibri, Bell 407 and the Robinson R44. Unlike other operators, large group functions are not a problem for us with such an extensive fleet in our hanger. We have moved up to 35 people for one function alone, all in company aircraft.
